I just watched the latest Batman movie!!!! :D

Super lag, I know, and tickets were quite expensive since it's the eve of National Day. But...OMG IT WAS REALLY REALLY GOOD. I mean, you always see people tweeting about how great a film was and you're like, okay, I've got to see it someday. But you just end up giving some of these shows a miss for a multitude of reasons. I wasn’t very interested in Batman so I didn’t feel like I was going to miss much, but I’m so glad I caught it! ^^

With the release of many 2012 blockbusters like the Avengers, I’m starting to love action flicks a lot more now. In the past, chick flicks were more appealing to me because they were fluffy and funny and cute most of the time. You could ooh and ahh with your friends over diabetic loveydovey scenes, or weep shamelessly over moving moments where the main lead dies or something. But lately, I’m beginning to truly appreciate the adrenaline rush that you inevitably get from action movies. It’s like, you can never get bored because there’s so much stuff going on and the scenes just keep switching so it’s freaking fast-paced and action-packed! (duh it’s an action movie LOL) You can’t help but give the film your undivided attention and become totally immersed in the whole plot/characters. Plus, awesome sound effects will always add to the thrill factor and enhance the cinematic experience :D

I’m definitely going to have an action movie marathon one day, with all the older instalments of Batman etc. So many things to do but so little time! L
