So the June holidays have already started (well it isn't June yet but you get my point), and I'm overwhelmed.

THERE’S JUST SO MUCH TO DO! BOTH GOOD AND BAD STUFF!

Since the start of the year I’ve been procrastinating and waiting for the holidays to come before I start working on my resolutions. It’s like I assume that once June comes, I’d automatically morph into some self-disciplined mugger who leads a healthy lifestyle and saves a lot of money. But now that June is almost here, you know what I’m thinking?

Well, there’s still November and December. Do I have to do it now?

I had all these grand plans about how I’d cherish every single day I had and use them for self-improvement. Like packing my stupid wardrobe and finding those clothes that somehow magically vanished (therefore becoming more organized and neat), making accessories instead of wasting those stupid beads my mom bought (therefore becoming a jack of one more trade), and start exercising relentlessly (therefore becoming healthier and fitter).
But a few days into the holidays, and I’m already feeling slightly burdened. Oops. I think I was a bit too over zealous and ambitious when planning my holiday schedule. They always say if you fail to plan you plan to fail, but what happens if you plan TOO MUCH?!

I feel like moaning and groaning over the fact that I KNOW I’ll be moaning and groaning about about time passing so fast on the last day of holidays but I’m still wasting time moaning and groaning instead of spending my time effectively! ):

Anyway, I recently finished reading this book, Divergent by Veronica Roth...

and it’s really, really good! Recently there has been way too many YA paranormal books emerging everywhere and they all seem to be carbon copies of Twilight (honestly IMO the craze doesn't make much sense now). The bad thing is the writers don't even bother to make it seem less obvious, it's like they just throw in one ordinary girl, one incredibly hot but mysterious and brooding guy, and then comes the standard line "Stay away from me. I'm dangerous."  Seriously. -_- Reading it once was fine, but ten other books which are exactly. the. same?

That is why dystopian novels are a nice change :D Hunger Games and Delirium are two others I liked and I’m so glad Divergent's going to be part of a series too. LOVED IT!!!

More later~
